Most workouts teach you to inhale going down, and exhale going up. This creates inner tension with each move because you’re expanding in a contraction, then forcing an expansive move. It’s a workout because it works your power out of you.
Instead we are going to work IN your power! Relax into contraction without collapsing muscle engagement, then inhale to lift and expand.
Emotionally you’re training yourself to remain relaxed when life contracts and stay engaged (meaning do not dissociate or try to force growth). Then when you’ve been filled up with enough inspiration and strength, you empower new growth.
